(More customer reviews)I bought the Champlain Panniers for the extra Space they have.I am an Left Leg Amputee, so I need to carry much more than a two legged person.I need extra medical supply's,Clean Liners for my limb,Towels and the like. The Champlains have nearly 60 Liters of room. Each bag has a large space for big items.Plus there are smaller pockets for storage.I put my things in small stuff sacks to stay organized with the heavier things close to the front bottom of the bag. They are very water resistant on there own. Then if you put the rain covers on I can be in some pretty bad weather for days and everthing will be dry.I looked at Arkel and Ortlib Panniers they were much higher priced and not that much better. But they still are better than the Axioms. Are the others worth as much as three times the price heavens NO!All Axiom panniers come with a lifetime Warranty!Thats good enough for me.Also they have never come loose on the racks. They have a simple locking system that works everytime. My only complaint is they are only available in the Black/Gray color. But that is a petty thing when you look at how they function.
